One of the causes flooding in Makassar City is management water system that not optimal. It necessary to arrange a drainage overcome City. In this study topography on Catchment area analysis, analysis hydrology and hydraulics analysis. Modeling distribution flood performed using HEC-RAS applications. This research was conducted Tallo watershed which consists Upper sub-watershed Mangalarang sub-watershed. The results discharge Hilir are 523.76 m3/s 886.82 m3/s. overflow River spread over 6.48 km2 Manggala District, 0.31 Rappocini 4.24 Panakukang 3.37 11.59 Tamalanrea District 0.01 Biringkanaya District. total 26 km2. solution with an environmentally sound system, it plan construction retention pond normal storage volume 2.48 million m3 maximum capacity 5.31 m3. can reduce 17.7 flood-affected area.
